HECH FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION was founded in the 1970s by Eberhard and Gertrud Heidrich as a company with the aim of promoting physical health and wellbeing, with a family history in agriculture and production as well as a personal passion for nutritional and herbal plants. Originally based in the Westerwald low mountain range in Rhineland-Palatinate, which was not only known for its extensive vegetation, but also as the home of the first German herb farm, Eberhard Heidrich endeavored to produce innovative nutrient products that went beyond vitamins and minerals and were not commercially available were available.
